Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
PEVISION VENTURES (“PEVISION”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and sells digital courses online. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you visit our site, create an account, or purchase a course. We process personal data in line with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) where it applies.
1. Who we are
Data user: PEVISION VENTURES
Contact: team.pevision@gmail.com
2. What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Account data — username, email address, and (if you choose password login) credentials stored in hashed form.
- Google sign-in data — if you use Google OAuth, we receive your name and email from Google to create or match your account.
- Payment data — purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. Stripe provides us with payment status, transaction references, and billing-related metadata needed to grant course access.
- Course usage data — login sessions, enrolment status, and access to course videos.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and general usage signals (for example, page visits collected via our own analytics beacon).
- Enquiry data — name, company, email, phone, budget, and message if you submit a contact form.
3. Why we use your data
- To create and manage your account and course enrolment.
- To deliver digital course content you have purchased.
- To process payments and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To respond to enquiries and provide support.
- To improve site security, performance, and user experience.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis and consent
We collect and use personal data where necessary to perform our contract with you (for example, selling and delivering a course), where required by law, or where you have given consent (for example, submitting an enquiry or signing in with Google). You may withdraw consent where applicable by contacting us, though this may limit our ability to provide the service.
5. Who we share data with
We use trusted third-party service providers that process data on our behalf — for example, for payment processing, sign-in, video delivery, and website hosting. These providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Cookies and sessions
We use essential cookies and similar technologies for login sessions, security, and site functionality. Theme preference may be stored in your browser’s local storage.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, account and enrolment records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure payment handling via Stripe. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
9. Children
Our courses are intended for adults and general business learners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without appropriate consent.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
